That was issued in March 1998. Construction works commenced in April 1998, following the issue of Building Permission. Simultaneously with the progress of the final construction stage at the end of 1998, the installation of technology of Utility centre started. The process of installation of manufacturing technology started in January 1999. It was carried through with significant involvement of the first TTCE employees. Formal production began in July 1999 and full production capacity was reached in November 1999. Construction stage as at August 7, 1998 Future development In near future Toray intend to expand its production capacity in Prostějov. When the work on extension starts and for what kind of product, it depends on many factors. Nevertheless, the idea is being closely examined and seriously considered even today.
